Have a few miles on your car? Are you a maintenance fanatic? Here is some more oil that should be changed, though depending on how you drive, perhaps only once every ten years. If you take your car to the track regularly, change the shock oil every couple of years or 2000 track miles. If drive in wheel to wheel competition and take maintenance seriously you should freshen shocks at least annually if not every event.
Does your Ferrari ride rough?
Here you are looking at the underside of a F355 front shock absorber piston. An internal rebound bumper has broken up and clogged the internal passages, severely limiting hydraulic oil flow, and effectively increasing the force produced by the shock, with the result being degredation in ride and handling quality.
